    what door poppers are you using?

    i have the aVS slim line kit and it sucks im using them on a 56 buick special. looking to get better poppers so i dont have to open the window to get in the car.

  2. I used big trunk release solenoids on my '52 Buick - worked just fine.

    Could be how you have it rigged. Where did you mount the solenoids, and how is it pulling the latch?

    i its pulling the latch sideways. that is the way the latch releases. could anyone post a pic of how they hooked everything up in the door?

    I would think if you have a 1/2 decent popper and good rubber around the door the thing should open just fine. Is something else keeping it from poppin' open?
