Hey guys, I had the doors off my 54 Ford blasted, just the interior panel side and inside of the door bottoms. Came out clean.
Looking to see what's a popular or trusted way to prevent rust from creeping back especially from the door bottoms.

    Thanks!

Most any epoxy primer and maybe a matching color of the car. Make sure your painter primes the bottom of the door and gets a good coat of body color. After the paint work is done make sure the drain holes are not covered by the weather stripping.
I’m 5 miles from the beach and Upland is a lot dryer than the humidity for me. Good luck.

Epoxy prime and make sure the 4 drain holes at the bottom of the door are clear. Should be good to go.

Oops, jimmy six beat me to it!

Drain holes must be open for sure. I had my doors apart, zero rust but I gave the inside bottoms of both doors and the area behind the rear seat panels a coat of POR15.
