Anyone know who will rebuild my 1951 ford double action fuel pump? They seem like a specialty item. Thanks in advance!

Kanter has them in their catalog, pricey and has a core charge.

Why do you want to keep the double action pump?? A single will do just fine..

The purpose of keeping the double action pump is to keep the improved wiper performance.

If you want to rebuild yourself? Try looking up/calling "Antique Auto Parts Cellar" in M***achusetts. He had a high quality kit for a 6cyl 1950 I did for a guy, after a cheapie kit from a "big name Ford parts place" failed in less than 24 hours. He might have your kit. The 6 was a single action, but also came with new valves... unlike the other place.

Try Arthur Gould, 631 754 5010, 6 Delores Ln., Fort Salonga, N.Y. 11768. He's done fuel pumps and water pumps for me in the past.
