anybody besides coker make them for maybe a little less. or anybody know of or have one they would part with. i lost 2 on ebay to the same guy that were within an hour of me for 54 and 26 bucks. either my computer ****s worse than i ***umed or he was using sniper services. i know it happens. i'm not *****ing. made up my mind it's what i want to use on the rear of the jap bobber but cokers $194 for one is out of the budget. anybody got any leads?...ken....
thanks ben i'll be looking forward to them. anyone else? the way my luck has been the past coupla days i need as many options as possible. did find them in the custom chrome catalog for 115 but it didn't say what brand they were either. bttt...ken....
I've an old original one that is in decent shape that I'll let go for 50.00 plus shipping. Just PM me if you are interested.
Try to track down some old Double Eagle tires. They used to make everything from bicycle, motorcycle, and bias-plys for cars. I found a set at a swap a few years new old stock and they were in great shape, evidently they were real common back in the day and it seems that there are a bunch still floating around.
Not sure how this could apply to bike tires but... I bought a set of the dual-stripe whitewall radials from Diamondback for my car. It's just a standard 3/4" whitewall with 1/4" ground out of the middle. Could be repeated using that 'make wider whitewalls' post that was on here lately.
timbob, man you gotta stop buying **** i want. the plan for the buick's rebuild would include skylarks or trus with double stripe whites. not real keen on the idea of grinding cycle tires. blowout on a car, bad. blowout on a bike rrrreeaaallllyy bad. looks like some stuff in coming together. i'm getting what i can so i have spares. thanks again guys...ken....
your killing me buy a freaking white wall and have the center groove cut in, then make it black, duh!
