Yes,,,i know that ,,i have a set of Doug Thorley Stainless Steel Hedders & Exhaust on my '78 GMC Motor Home ,,good product ,,
I saw that "Chevy II Much" was for sale last year for $100K ,,now ,,at $40K it's a steal ,,,,I don't think a guy could build it for that,,??/

Just read here ,,that the original was sold ,,twice ,,and the 2nd guy put an automatic in it a hit a wall ,and it was totalled ,,

Here's the original clone built by Doug and the original crew. And Doug Thorley at this years US Nationals.
The car is from the NHRA Museum. No it never crashed. Yes it had an automatic tranny, by a friend of Doug's who bought the car after it came out of the museum. It's now got an alcohol injected motor and 4 speed top loader tranny. It's back to its former self.
