It was nice to finally meet you Jim, weather was perfect and a lot of different cars turned out this year. I had to leave before noon and start painting a house. Thanks for posting the photos.

[IMG]"Bad News" is one of the best restored local cars, it was a Class Winner at the U.S.Nationals in the early 1960's.

Jimmy V... Thanks for the great photos. I wish I could have made the trip with you, but had some family obligation. I would have really like to have seen The Pacer's "Tasmanian Devil" AA/A. The last time I saw that car was in the Boston Car Show around 1970.

I saw that as i was driving out!! So i never got to see it on the ground.I drove down there & back in about 9 hrs! Thats 318 miles round trip! My ass was pins & needles. 6 outta 9 hours in a T bucket is alittle too much.LOL

    Was there...great cars...great people!!!!

I do have to comment about one of the cars and their owner....

    this car here:

I don't remember they owners name...think it was BILL or BOB from Fairfield, CT....

I had to shake this guys hand....he was by his car all day flagging people (mostly youngsters) to come over, get in, and was letting the parents take the kids pictures in the car! Just something nice to see instead of the ol' LOOK BUT DON"T TOUCH signs we see so many of!

Per the owner... it's a '30 five window coupe with a Buick v8. Car was built in the 60's, but chopped more recently...He wears goggles while driving! A sight to see!!

Heck...Even got my picture in it!
