Drag cars driving past my home

Some real cool cars have past by my house this afternoon. I live in western KY. Is there something going on I don`t know about.

 

I only opened this thread because I thought there would be pics.

There was a funeral in Hopkinsville for some race driver I'd guess. The procession was 100-150 cars deep old hot rods. The Hurst was a cherry red 50's Caddy (told by a friend that drove by.) The first car behind the hurst was a flat bed hauling a full on pro-mod dragster. All the hot rods followed.

 

Its HEARSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Durn hillbillies.

 

definitely Hot Rod Drag Week. Four of my buddies are participating. I did last year, but there is a wedding in the family tomorrow, so I had other priorities. Today, they raced at Memphis and tomorrow they are at Bowling Green.
