    Roo,
Pretty sure it was they way since being built until I don't know when it was converted. You have to remember that I did not see much of the track...my Dad had me picking up trash and passing out flyers for the next meet!!!!

  3. Car Craft magazine ran some pics of the car in 1966. Jay Howell ( at Logghe Bros) built the chassis. OR, it might have been an R&B chassis. Can't remember for sure!
This was a nitro burning funny car, not too easy ( or cheap) to re create!

Martin, Miles and Wileman, Melbourne, Australia. Steel and f'glass shell, Ian Splatt (Dragway) built. A stunning car at the time. Later ran with a "T" body as the Monaro shell was too heavy to be competitive. The "T" version later ran in the /HR class with small block for power while the body ended up on the "Moonshot" wheelstander. Thankfully all of the major components survived and the car was restored to this form a few years ago.

    Question for the Ozzies---
Over the years I've noticed the wheels on many of your cars; they don't look familiar to me, were they actually made by companies that did not export them or are they one-offs.

    Thanks for the info.
I was thinking I would start with a junior varsity version with just stack injection and hold off on the blower for starters.

  20. Well....I hope you have a big bank account and great welding, metal forming and general fabrication skills!
Good luck! I think induction would be the least of your problems and challenges here!

I can handle the welding and fab work the deep pockets could be a problem but I have a fair amount of luck prying money out of other peoples pockets.
I have just been looking for some direction to go with this car and the desire to put on a show for the crowd if you know what I mean.
