History Drag cars in motion.......picture thread.

The Mr Bardahl Corvette matched raced here in Missouri. It may have been out of Texas. I remember it from the dragstrip near Saint Genevieve, Mo. It was fun to watch and it was a nice surprise to see a picture of it this morning.

Another car that I always enjoyed at Saint Genevieve was a 56 Chevy called "Just for Kicks" I always look for picture of it and I would like to know more of its history.

The weather is beautiful in Pittsburgh today and, this is EXACTLY what I want to be doing but... I'm stuck at work.

I see your one Milne Bros pic and raise you two! The road race version was converted in Australia.

 

I think that this is the car that Bill Hanyon drove...Bill was a long-time Blair's employee who ran the dyno shop -- he was a great tuner...life ended tragically...
