Tommy you found a whole lot of Dover picture here, this one is Ron Abbotts "blown " Hellzapoppin I don't recognize the injected car in the other lane but it looks like the one Bobby Schlagel restored along with the Hellzapoppin only with injection before the blower.

  26. Hey guys!
Taking a break from posting for a while, I feel that too many pics are repeats posted sometimes, within a day or two, some posted perhaps a dozen times! I'm going to cool it until I have a decent stash or new, or at least relatively unseen pics.
    Have fun!

Nice to see Tim Richards name again on the hood.

I wonder how Tim and Kim are doing.

I found these on Gasser Madness, the site started by the late Byron Stack. Looks like it is functioning again. This is a photo history of the Leffler and Loukas fuel coupe from Parma, OH. If you saw it run, it was hard to forget...it evolved from a channel frame Olds powered car to the blown car that beat the Speed Sport roadster in '61 at the Smoker's meet (Dean Lowe has told that story on this thread)...the pictures are not in order, so it takes some sorting

This was how old race cars evolved, often you kept them for years, gradually adding more speed stuff as you got more money and your b....s got bigger

    "The Wart"...gotta love it!

...and you built them in your garage, or at the gas station, with a rented arc welder, and junkyard parts...
