  3. For D/Dragster on gas, there was a D/Fuel class too.
4 and six bangers and straight eights. Maximum of two engines.

I don't remember who ran this rear engined roadster, except that it had a fin on the headrest and was Pontiac powered

    $_12 (6).JPG
Or this one, anyone? ( just found it, HRM, Nov. '58: Charles Kleckner, Great Neck, Long Island, NY, won B/MR at the '58 Nationals, Chevy powered, 113mph)

    $_12 (8).JPG
Gary Cagle, Bakersfield, looks line Bobby Langley behind him...

    $_12 (18).JPG
I think this is Doug Cook, before SWC, he ran a blown sbc.

    $_12 (21).JPG
Johnny Burrell, from Birmingham, AL, McCulloch blown Chrysler, got a spread in HRM
    Picture111.jpg
Early Breschini and Argee, before the blower. This was a steel bodied roadster with a channel frame...later would get a tube frame but kept the steel body...from the Sacramento CA area, if I remember correctly...several other racers got involved in this roadster as it evolved, Fred Sorensen, and the Burkholder Brothers.

  25. The second to last competitive steel bodied fuel altered was the Argee -Sorensen roadster. Here's Don Argee getting trailered by the last competitive steel bodied car (2 straight). Yes, I was there.

I don't think that ever materialized, but I have heard about the new car, it's a modern Ford of some kind.
