  1. Thanks man. I already tried that one and never even got a "f K off"
out of em. I'll try again as the Wallaces are probably my best hope.

How about a 6.20 ET, 195 MPH Kart? Rocket powered with a five foot Deist!

KSCUDA thanks for the memories of Minnesota Dragway. I was probably there the same days you took these. I helped out Ma&Pa back in the day.
John Foster ran a quality show back in the day

I took this from Ray Erickson's thread. It's Bob Sullivan, later of "Pandemonium" top fuel and funny car fame. He's running this roadster here in 1954 at Elma, KS. Bad quality, but great image.

This goes along with the go cart with the rocket engine on it.
    This was taken at KCIR.
Was at Minnesota Dragways when Ky Michaelson strapped one of
those rocket packs on his son who was wearing roller skates and
tried to make it down the 1/4 mile. That was something to see

Sorry, my Brownie Hawkeye camera didn't take good action shots in 1961-2. I thought this guy should get in the thread. Anyone remember his square tube AA Fueler? Minnesoa Dragways.

He said it was from a 1954 Hot Rod Magazine. I guess it must have been real small and the texture you see is the halftone dots.

Royalshifter, you have an outrageous photo collection...keep 'em coming.

  27. Be careful what you ask for! Mike is a great photographer (he's shot an unbelievable amount of photos) and caught a lot of really rare cars over the years.

Topeka, 2000...one of my favorite shots that he did. Just looks mean sitting there...even though it's not in motion! :)

thats the car I helped with. In the late 70's it was a static display in MAS's front window on Hennipin ave, with a early iron block hemi dummied in the chassis
