    Gary, is this picture from Washington ? I remember seeing a white Willys sedan at Puyallup in June of '63

  4. The Freedom Machine was owned by Tom Dawes, tuned by he & Dick Gazan, & driven by Orin, or Owen (maybe Roberts was his last name) but they called him "OJ". I met, and worked for Dick Gazan from 1984- 1993. He had lots of pics and stories of the Freedom Machine. The car was found, and restored in the late 80's. Just before I met Dick, he had spent the previous several years as Lil John Lombardo's crew chief. I got to meet Owen once when he stopped by to have lunch with us.
     
  5. Dunno Marty. I'm guessing yes, it just looks like the NW. It also looks like it's from a film.
