Any info on this one? I have not seen this Canopy car before.
I am assuming it is period correct, (and not a modern car) by the look of the pic.

Ron Johnson's Ivo clone actually. If the photo was of the original it would be either a Buick or a Caddy pushing. :)

Initially I thought that this might have been the SWC Dark Horse 2 Mustang but it had bolt on Cragar S/S front wheels (and the quarter windows in the C pillars). The rear wheel opening radius is not cut as high either so who was this?

Yes, Nando Haas in the Rader Wheels car, one of three fuel dragsters that would get upside down at that meet...apparently there was a ridge or something on the track....(Paul Sutherland also got upside down in the Charter, forgot who the third car was, but it was a full bodied Woody car, because Woody, in disgust, threw the battered remains of the body over the fence, loaded the remains of the car and left for Long Beach)

  11. With the lack of details in the background of this photo, it looks like somebody is trying to push-start a fueler on a stretch of highway. :D At least I'm assuming that this is a return road at a track somewhere...
