That "No Lift" Norman!!!

 

Dean I think a few of those early fuel pilots missed the day in English cl*** when they taught the meaning of the word word LIFT, but Norm was at the top of the list of no lift drivers

I used to watch him in person and say to myself ' how does he do that '

I would not mind putting a bet on the fact that Leek was the one behind the "Golden Greek" deal. He is the one that labelled Arnie Beswick the "Farmer" way back when. I will ask him the next time that I see him.

Wonder how many shots of Norm like this are out there? This was the norm for Norm. Sorry, I just couldn't resist.

 

I would like to see them all. It reminds me, of me, drag racing my cycles. Front wheel up and smokin' the rear. Good times.

I realize its bad to have rear tires that far off ground, but what is that hanging from what appears to be right front axle?
