I seem to remember David Simmons, one of the first big time bracket racers in the south, diving the SS/CA car rhat year. Richard Griffin was the other driver after Terry Earwood left. Freddie

  6. They got a buddy, Larry Schmidt who has a '55 Delray that runs 265 single 4/glide. They took it to Denver a couple years ago with a 7.47:1 gear in it.
I asked him if the pinion has 3 teeth on it?

Looks like a 150 with a station wagon spear.

    Bob W,

Here's a Div. 1 Corvette you may remember. It really was a versatile car. Bill used to run at least four classes , FI 4 speed & PG, 2 4bbl 4 speed & PG. He always ran well.

How about another SS/AA car? How do you like that driving suit?

One more from the 1973 Summernationals. I had only been married two months when I took my wife with me. She was a little pissed about this shot and didn't understand why I would want to take a photo of "someone I didn't know". Duh!!!

BOB W., Believe it or not, but that is a CANADIAN built 150. For some reason, they put what looks like station wagon side trim on 150's made in Canada. Butch/56sedandelivery.

I don't know if these qualify as "drag cars in motion", but they do qualify as "old drag car pictures".

from near Detroit, spring 1960, a friend's father took them, he passed away recently and she found the slides and had them printed, and let me scan and post them. His name was Harley Parrott.

I have higher resolution scans here.

also PLEASE PM me if you have any info about any of the cars or people, so I can forward it to Kim.

Wonder if this is the same car? This is from the 1970 Summernationals at York.
