  1. Nostalgia events lets us remember the cars of our youth. This was before Corporate money got involved.

    A dirt drag strip. Must have been messy and I can’t imagine the track prep.
    Where was Kopuku? Hawaii?

    That little Schubert & Herbert car sure kicked some serious butt at Lions back then. I was a big Hemi fan so I hated it when that little Chevy turned on the win lights. I always thought that it was beautiful in its clean simplicity though.

    I did the Google lens deal, tried to read the article shown, it wouldn't allow it to be enlarged or forwarded, (thanks Pinterest).
    I think it said it had three different small block Chevy engines, said a 301, a "stock" 327 and a 364 incher, all borowed engines.
