    Hey Luke, thanks...Cool Cars Square Roll Bars is deffinitely a must have book, especially for us east coast guys, that are still on the east coast.:D

    That's some more cool info I'll share (remind them of, haha) with the guys at Ted's garage about. Thanks for passing it along.:cool:

    That is one of my favorite books......it wealth of information and photos on the roots of east coast drag racing.

    On the far right is Gas Ronda, next to him is Paul Harvey's Ford Galaxy, black Mustang on far left is Tommy Grove. Part of the factory FX squad

    Just seeing if you guys knew them. It's a picture I found on the internet. L-R Les Ritchey, Ed Terry, Mike Schmidt, Len Richter, Gas Ronda, front Connie Kalitta. It was Fords 1965 drag team. If it was used in an ad I'd like to see it.

    It was a killer at Islip's 1/8 mile as can be attested by the windows full of kill stickers! I never saw it run anywhere else and it disappeared around 1970! Maybe its stuck away in a garage on Long Island waiting for someone to find it!!

    Dog427435, great pics from the Long Island tracks. You wouldn't by chance have any of a red 33 Ford 3 window C/Altered with #777 on the doors? That's my dad's old car. He ran it at Islip & West Hampton.
