  1. No, it was definitely built that way. I have a construction picture somewhere around here with the body all cut up like that. Of course, later on it lost even that little bit of roof!

    This is Showrail, or Little Wisdom as the second owners called it. Shot is from Detroit Nationals 59, it was a 354 Hemi in it then. Dave Butler is driving. Maybe someone have pictures of it from Detroit 59 or 60.

    That is good to hear. If you ever get a chance and have a few hours to spare, do some bench racing with Arlen. I must warn you, you facial and stomach muscles will be sore from all of the laughing when he is done with you.

  28. It's a beautiful thing, looking at these photos and remembering alot of them from magazines as a young boy. Now in retirement, I still feel young seeing them again.
