History Drag cars in motion.......picture thread.

i talked to a guy that was involved with this car...he and a couple others told me , that it was a LOUD sob.... and had a sound all its own.. .and a nice paint scheme as well... brandon

 

Indeed, he is the Dick Clark of drag racing. He once owned a small chain of Arthur Murray Dance Schools in the late 50's to mid 60's. Teaching housewives how to do the Bossa-Nova would keep anyone fit!

 

He still is a dancer, lives in Palm Springs and his black "Stang is tuned and tweaked by Les Richey's son...great guy

 

that's such a great shot of this car, I straightened it out and cropped it
(as much as my mac can, that is, I don't have photoshop)

This will help it pick up a couple tenths as well,
not going uphill anymore...
