History Drag cars in motion.......picture thread.

Hope these are not too new for this site. I had to get these out of my system. As a died in the wool FORD man I will never hear the end of this from my friends. I took these at Commerce GA. We were there racing in a special put on by Snap On tools and WJ used the track being open for some testing.

Carl was restoring a '40 sedan delivery. I found one in Connecticut, complete with the hand crank for starting the 60. I eventually sold it to Carl, because he wanted the driver side mirror. Wonder which one this is. Long time ago, like '62

Yes back to the old thank you...and I love this Dragster.

 

I used to have a good friend by the name of Arnie Scwartz who owned a speed shop in Winnepeg Canada in the late 1970's and I have lost touch with him .... I would sure like to make contact with him again.....

Any of you Canadian guys know any thing about him ??
