Never heard that about Jungle Jim, you are not confusing him with another well known old time funny car driver which I will reframe from naming.

I know a few racers that fit that description, fuel and AA/GS and others, but not JJ AFAIK.

 

Yes that is total BS maybe you are thinking of another racer GS.

 

He isnt displaying disinterest but rather boredom. He seen it a hundred time before.

 

Not implying or suggesting any other driver but I also believe your thinking of some one else. Beside, Im sure Pam could and would keep him on the straight and narrow.
