    The McKesson Bros. have been around for quite a while. These are from '65 and '66 at Detroit Dragway and Milan Dragway. Good ol' Insta-matics. I wore mine out taking three pics a race back then!

    Fossil,
    Rare Bear and the Smirnoff Bearcats are 2 different planes. Rare Bear is still flying and the Smirnoff plane was donated by Greenamayer to the NASM. It's currently on display near Washingont DC at Dulles airport in the Udvar-Hazy center in Conquest 1 colors.

    Lyle Shelton does, or did own Rear Bear, still the fastest Unlimited Gold lap record holder.
    Fossil, that sound and 'feeling' in your gut is actually caused by the tips of the propellers breaking the sound barrier each time they turn past you.They are little sonic booms that you feel and hear and yes it is AWESOME!

    This thread is awsum, brings back some memorys that I haven't thought about for a long time. I am in the process of redoing a henry j gasser, an with looking at these threads it is going to get me off my a** an get started on it. If any one has any old picts of any henty gassers I would appreciate them for ideas, thanx Marc
