"PANIC" has got to be one of the alltime coolest F/C names.

Hazen fielded one of most competetive alterds; It could not only best any other altered on any given day, but could be a threat in combo-eliminator circuit ( a late 60's, early 70's So-Cal phenomenon that included top gas rail and jr fuelers) where he would beat the more consistent rails.

  13. That was a great video. Would be nice to understand the narrative but the rest was a trip back in time.

That was the best vid I've ever seen from the era...Stupendous shit there! Made me completely homesick for a place I've never been, and a scene I missed by decades. Those guys had no idea whatsoever how good they had it...and that's one of the things that made it great.

  19. that video is KILLER! if you look hard at all the well known names you see its amazing...thurmond bros altered, Magic Muffler fiat, freight train, yeakel plymouth special, pure hell, mondello and matsubara, shore and hess, Adams and Wayre, ???? UN REAL!!

  20. I have been fortunate enough to have heard one of these. At full song. On nitro. Even a Mopar guy has to appreciate the incredible sound these created. Only a V-12 Ferrari can really be compared-and that's NOT to denigrate any other mill.

OK;full-race flatties sound titties as well.

  26. That video is awesome. Love the shoots of the "ROLLERS". Also enjoyed the sound... ha,ha most of the cars sounded the same, must have had only one sound track. Great, loved it all. Brings back a lot of Good memories of LIONS. "Drive the Highways, Race at Lions".
