What year is this pic? In 1970, the tower at Fremont was on the right side.

Considering the image filename is "Fremont64.jpg" ... I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it was taken in 1964 ;)

This is a Video of Australian stuntman Jim Bailey, known as ”The Human Torpedo,” he rode behind FC on a metal plate as thrill show. Jim did lose his life in April 1991 as he fell 500 feet to his death from an airplane while making a film for television Wednesday, authorities said.

Initially, authorities said Baily was performing for ABC-TV’s ”That’s Incredible,” but the show’s producer denied having any connection with the accident.

Witnesses, including members of the Maui Fire Department and the rescue unit, said Bailey, a resident of Brisbane, Australia, was suspended underneath a single-engine Ballanca by a strap and belt when the belt broke. He hung onto the strap for a few seconds before falling.’

What a shame so many HAMB members can't at least list the photographers name for photo credit. It's bad enough many people are just printing and p***ing their photos around, take time and list photo credits.COPYRIGHT IMAGE LAW.

These images have been saved over a period of time from the internet. If you have a problem with people sharing these images with other like minded individuals then you should just come out and say so. I am not trying to take any credit for these photos and there is no financial gain in my sitting at a computer and resizing and posting these images for others to enjoy. The only reason I do this is because I love these old pictures as do the other members who enjoy this thread.
