Looks like I'm going to be down a few days. I was in NHRA site & while in there digtial protection pop-up & filled my whole screen up with a ad to buy it. I X it out and then it went to my home page and there was 3 porn site icons pop-up on my desktop & I can't get them off. Also no matter what I'm doing on my computer the digtal protection keeps popping up wanting to buy it.

I copied all the photos I had it my files so I save all of them. I also delete the folders.

I have a thumb file but don't know how to save my favorites & address book on the thumb drive. Anybody know how to this?

While I'm typeing this spyware alert just popped up & I "X" it out.

Once I find out how to save my favorites & address files I'm going to have to do a system recovery.

    Thanks,

    Plum

...had something similar happen, but it was a fake security site, not porn...I called McAfee and for around 80 bucks they got into my computer and deleted the virus ... didn't lose anything but still 80 bucks is a lot.....

  6. Wow Eastcoast57- Thanks for the bitchin' shot. Love the way the front of that engine is behaving ( is there no idler pulley?) and the obvious heat build in the tyres. What a car!

  7. You might be right...Im pretty sure thats Sorokin's helmet though...and he had that full button up mask probably from testing equipment for bill simpson...Lotus John only drove the car a couple times and there are tons of pics of Sorokin driving it with the spring front end

Thanks C/gas..........here's a couple original pictures I picked up from the guy who drove it in the mid sixties. I plan on using a 301 chev with hilborn. Id like to find an original CAE axle to use for the front end. They had a single spring mounted behind the axle. Your Willys C-dan is Bitchen...Ive seen you at alot of different shows and its a runner.

Actually it's still around...showed up several years ago on Byron Stack's "Gasser Madness" site in the classifieds...no engine, most of the upholstery gone, but still looked pretty much like this picture...hope someone bought it and is restoring it...

I left the date on the Sander bros car, the reason is because this is the first 55 Chevy I ever seen to go in the 9's. OUTSTANDING for May of 1970.

    It was Hemi powered.

The light blue SWC is the restored car & what a beautiful job they did.

I think it won a award for ever show they entered.

Its on the June issue of Hot Rod. Nice little write up.
