This car was originally the Football Austin of Mazmanian. Off went the Austin, on went the Opel.

How do you feal about me posting some mid-90's photos. Heres 2 samples. It woulsd be just the pro classes, T/F, F/C, P/S & maybe Pro Mod.

I used to be track photographer at VMP & Richmond Dragway when I live in VA. and at that time VMP was running NHRA and I have quite a few shot from their National meets.

Don't fear, I no where near being done on the older stuff.

I can't say I'm against your amazing pictures, trad or newer. I was at VMP 2000 and 2001 in PS, crewin on an ACDelco sponsored Camaro, not Kurt's.

Boy that picture of Carbone and him burning down Big.

I happen to speak with Steve about that incident a couple of years before he died. I asked him if it was planned the way it happen.

He told me that the plan was set as he went to set the tree.

His words were "Just wanted to see if the old man could stand the heat."

Make no mistake, Steve Carbone was a great wheel man and a great mind.

Damn, they just don't make guys like that anymore.

Brings to mind John Mulligan and the beat and list goes on!

    Glad I got to see'm.

Thanks for the great pictures guys!

Paul Shedlik did paint jobs on a lot of cars, Paul Stefansky (super stang) Doug Nash (Bronco Buster) Pete Gates (Gate Job), Dyno Don (Eliminator 1 Cougar), Jack Chrisman and others. He did awesome paint jobs and was just about famous for his saucy paint blends. He is my favorite painter to. :) Mattbee

Is there anything else on this car? Anything at all? Nothing like the wretched excess of 12 blown engines!!
