    My middle school library (school has been around since the 60's) had this book. I thought it was so old school, and kind of a funny/entertaining read. This was by far my favorite pic in the entire book.

    Oh, and middle school was only 4yrs ago haha:p

    Plum your repeated depicitng of the Dodge Fever Challenger is appreciated. It stood as a local car that could hang performance wise, with any other car on tour. More than a few legitimate "6's" were produced by this thing. And this was with a 392, not the 426. I am not sure if it was based on the years previous effort, the red and white 69 Charger. Do you know?

    How old can I be? I remember when the baddest top fuel cars of the day ran times that they couldn't qualify in pro stock with today!
    And the racing was much more fun...
