First off I'ld like to say is get well to Pop Braford.

Second is thr guy who came of with the name Between Heaven & Hell came up with a cool name.

Wasn't Pure Hell or Pure Heaven but ran right with them. All Baan bodies.

Anybody remeber who the team was?

    Thanks,

    Plum

  6. Probably the "Slowest" Drag car in motion... but the most fun driving it 700 Miles... uncorking the pipes and racing the crap out of it!

I know these shots aren' moving but I found these while uploading some negatives, and figured I post these to give people a look into how they use to paint the grille's on the funny cars. They're from a couple of years ago of My friend of mine Glen of Glen Designs working on Lou Sgro's Nostalgia funny car.....Rich

    Hi Y'all,
I have not posted here for quite awhile, but I do look at all your photos every day.
In the next few days, I will post some 1965 photos along with some 2010 photos of my Cupit & Cunningham AA/FD that I recently re-created as a cackle car. 45 years apart, similar photos.
I sent some in motion several months ago.
    Regards to all,
Glenn - in Louisiana . . . I will be 72 in 2 weeks! It just gets BETTER!

PS I forgot how to post big photos and not thumbnails?? Help?

I love this car but currently represents everything that is wrong with Barret Jackson auctions.

Went at auction for an outrageous 1.2 million. Just this year it was liquidated for 235K. (or something like that). Nothing like taking a million dollar loss.

Of course now eveyone with a 4 door 283 2 barrel chevelle thinks they have a classic and wants 10K

Nice,Glenn.Way to keep the blood pumping.Gotta put a smile on your mug.
I use photobucket to load and then you can change the size right there and copy and paste. The thumbnails blow up nice though, when you click on them.

Dragula made exhibition passes around the country. I don't know about the Munster Coach though. One of the Batmobiles also ran all over the country with Bill Shrewsberry doubling with it and his wheelstander.

The Beaver Hunter II fuel altered of Nolan Pritchard debuted in 1968 and was raced by various drivers into the early seventies. Pritchard had been a partner in the original Beaver Hunter until the partnership split. Nolan built the new car in 1968, placing Dale Young at the wheel of the yellow altered. Pritchard joined the Leon Fitzgerald’s US Fuel Altered tour. Harry Harrison replaced Young at the wheel. Harrison was known as a heavy footed driver with a never lift reputation that suited the Beaver Hunter II just fine. Other Beaver Hunter drivers included John Force, Henry Harrison, Dale Young, Don Hicks, Tom Oliviras, and Stan Lucas. John Force’s ride ended in a crash on the fire up road! A couple of AA/FAs at Conn, the Picard car was once the Mondello & Matsubara car repainted by Brian Signs in Ct to mimic the original, Of course it has gone back home and has been fully restored as the M&M car!!
