    Have not seen a pic of George Shumperts wheelstander in white.I remember he was at our local strip doing a show and in the pits he was telling a bunch of us he was working on a plan to do a rollover wheelstander.
    And he did.
     
  5. Great shots of Lions staging area, really shows how close spectators could get to the cars (not to mention how close the cars were to the fence).

    I saw the "MALCO VETTE" on number 21958 get crushed at an IHRA race in 1974.That was a show car,beautiful.

    Wow Bob, I'm really loving these that you posting today. Lions, OCIR and Irwindale, really stirs up the old juices for me. Great cars and great times.:cool:

    This is the first time I've seen a shot of my Nova after selling it to Smith.
    The old Madness looks good. :D
