Hmmmm, I would say that way more than half of this thread is post '65. Rather than attempt to squeeze everything into a specific year, or time period, why not just stick to stuff that is cool, and representative of the CULTURE we love.
You've got artist out there...Rooman and King Chassis to name a couple, who are building machines true to the spirit of this "classic" era, and actually racing them. Are you saying that these guys don't "get it"...or that I don't "get it" because I look forward to seeing their work in action?
The mods do a fantastic job of weeding out the stuff that truly doesn't belong here. For over a year now, the very first thing I do when I boot up the computer is come here and check out the newest posts....It's like Christmas morning every night!

 

this Thread has been a major portion of my feeble little life for over a year now. please respect the hosts and posters here and keep this thread going and filled with wonderful images and memories for those less fortunate born outside the cradle of hot rod culture.
I look forward to attending the GNRS next weekend and meeting some true hot rodders who continue to work hard to preserve a semblance of tradition and history...thank you all for posting...and making this site a welcoming historical site....and thanks again for all the cool posts.......jim wray..!!!
