    Big Al was owned and driven by Ray Alley. Ray owned the Engine Master's automotive in Garden Grove. His torque flight transmissions were in many 60' era funnies ours included.Big Al was high gear only and was for the most part exhibition but did win some races. Ray went on the races several funnies and put a young guy named Kenny Bernstein in the seat. Ray also drove a turbine car and later worked for NHRA as a tech official.
