    OK, one more try. I keep getting message saying the file is too big. I'm a black and white TV guy in a 50" plasma world, and I can't get out.

    A good friend of mine bought that A&B jr.Dragster 2 years ago:)
    Loghe chassis and a SBC. It has some mods, but stil is very cool:)

    That is mean...I had a friend in high school that had a black one with a big block 396 and 2x4 with a 4 speed and nothing could catch that thing.

  25. Here is Dad's first race car. '61 Starliner 390-401, the original Mr.Twister. This car won Super Stock several times at Mason Dixon & 75-80 in late '61 and '62. The woman in the photo is my mom and the dude is dad in '61.

    Y'all ever come up against the King Speed shop D/MP 65 Mustang convertible out of Lansing, Ill. Your post reminds me of watching it run. He reved the thing till it sounded like the pistons would let go and dumped the clutch and it launched like it was shot out of a cannon. I could only dream that my K code coupe would be that bad.


     
  27. Here are a few of our current cars. The Starliner is not the same one he had in '61 but it is identical 390-401. All of them are FE powered!!!

    Looks like your dad had the same tast in cars as me in the late 60's early 70's. His were just a lot faster than mine. LOL. I had a 60 Falcon coupe with Shelby 289,Tri-why headers T10 4 speed 4.57 9" spool.
