Well, bite my tongue, but I think it looks better than the original.

 

Ansen & Pink (Lou Senter and Ed Pink)...this car had an interesting history, but I don't remember the details...wasn't it the Fuller, Zeuchel and Prudhomme originally, the winner of the 62 Smoker's meet? Rick, do you remember?

Tom Dyer was the regular driver, but then Prudhomme stepped in and dramatically lowered the car's et record, that was when the pundits started calling him "magic foot"

 

Yep ... I have some photos of Yellow River as well. As you well know, but others might not, it was the sight of the worst accident in drag racing history, and I have heard it said, the worst auto racing accident in America. At any rate, a mobile home now sits where the accident occurred. I bet the occupants have no idea.

Yep, I was there, right across the track. I went to Paradise Dragstrip in Calahoun last night for the weekly bracket races. Georgia's oldest continously running drag strip, since 1962.

Any one on here have problems with Wilwood brakes sticking, my buddys' has stuck three times, each time resulting in a blown tire on the top end??
