KING CHASSIS, The "old" photo is actually BRIGHTON, ENGLAND; billed as the world's oldest drag strip (1905). I thought Brighton Beach was a Russian community in New York City! I took my info from "The Sox and Martin Book of Drag Racing", published by Henry Regnery Company, 1974. The last photo, before this post, of Joe Alreads 57' 150 Handyman Wagon Junior Stocker is what I really like to see.

Is it just me or is this thread loosing its 'Traditional' drag racing theme.
Dont get me wrong, I like the dedication idea I just want to see REAL drag cars, not 80s and later crap.
