Well, we're back here at Alton Dragway again for what is probably THE most historic (or hysterical) shot of this whole dang thread. That's the Greek hisself over there in lane one smokin' the hides at the beginning of the shot heard 'round the world.

Yep thats right, the fabled, famed, and much fumed about to this day, first in the 2's 204 run. Now that I have you all wiping the drool from your keyboards, I cannot confirm nor deny that this is for sure the real 204 lap, but hey it's my pic, my dilusion. Anyway it's a great shot from the glory days.

By the way, anyone recognize his opponent?

This is a video capture from some old 8 mm footage I have, of me in the digger making a qualifying pass against the wheels-up DCB Altered at Green Valley. In the video he got really close to the guard rail. Sorry for the pour quality. I also have some captures form Cherokee Dragway (Frederick OK.) that I will post later.
