    Kerry,
    I live just west of Indianapolis so I have to put up with frost heaves, chuck holes etc along with "rust belt" bodies. Bathurst is a billiard table compared with some of the roads around here. :eek:

    If you hard-mount the centre of the diff to the chassis, then align the forward pivot point with the lower control arm fulcrum line, basically creating a lower A arm. If you soft mount the diff (as Jag did originally) then you can run the soft mounted trailing arm straight forward to the chassis rail.

    Thanks Dakota.za, that is what I am trying to do. What are you running for a front axle?

    Original solid front axle because it's a fender less rod.
