I am looking for two early issues of Drag News. I have the CDs that contain back issues from the start in 1955, and have found much useful information and pictures. My problem is, in a couple of issues I’ve found photos that are of great interest to me, but the quality of the photos makes it nearly impossible to use them. I should mention that the producers of the CDs had to make a difficult choice between providing readable text or clear pictures. In general, I think they made the right choice in going for readable test, but after finding what I was looking for in their great CDs, I would now like to have several of the pictures at a better quality. (Especially the one of my first car, a ’34 three-window Ford in a Nov. issue in 1955.) I have been waiting for the back issues I need to show up on eBay, but so far they have not appeared. The going price per issue on eBay seems to be around $10 or $12, which seems fair. However, I don’t need to buy them, I simply need a good scan or photo copy of particular pictures. I say that in case there is someone who has copies but doesn’t want to sell them. Sorry I can't help you with the issues you need but I do have the CDs. Boy are they hard to read!!! I do collect Eastern Drag News. I'm 9 issues from a complete set. If anyone has any they would like to sell please let me know. Thanks

Looking at the low number of views this subject has gotten. I'd recommend your start a new thread with a different title. Something like " Harrell/Borsch Winged Express photos". That should generate more interest, then post a couple of photos you have of the cars you are looking for plus the Drag News info. You will probably get even other photos of the car that you hadn't seen before. I recently found on here photos and a video of my brothers car from 1958 that we had never seen before.
