History Drag Photos-Gassers, A/FX, Etc.

I took slides to a photography shop and had them put on a CD. Way easier to mess around with.

 

Thats the plan. I'm trying to finish a 400/clutchless 5speed
combo, if not it'll have the beater 350/glide in it. I'm re-doing the trunk
and tubs right now, some hack gave it the "hot wrench & Reynolds wrap"
job years ago. Tim Morse is gonna do the sheet metal, new headers/exhaust, firewall bar and a couple odds & ends.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The cross track shots where the cars are small and at speed are drop dead gorgeous. I found a stash of pics my dad took at Fremont Drag Strip between 1961 and 1963. They will be in Church issue 5. Gotta crank to get it done in time for the Hot Rod Reunion.

 

I need a cigarette....and I don't even smoke. Th gold Willys was a highlight for me. Thanks for posting!!

 

Brian- I'm glad you finally got those pictures up on the H.A.M.B. for all to see! I keep the set you gave at the shop- people freak when they view them. Guys- whats so amazing is that these shots from Irwindale are crystal clear! I'll swear I see my uncle in the background in a few, as he lived minutes from the track. Bitchin pics!
