Sorry that we could not make it up to Denton on Friday nite...Decided at the last minute that we would just take "what we had" to Houston next weekend. Car should easily run in the 9.80s or so on a 10.00 flat index..........
..anyway, it was my wife's birthday, but she was ready to go to the drags when she got home from work...a small party was had instead.

  3. With my work transition (can't get Friday off) and the price of gas I'm going to miss. Have a good time guys!

From the other post that says roadsters have to have arm restraints I would say they are going to check pretty good. As far as roll cage its according how fast we go .

I dont think tech will be very strict. I have run mine in the past and I dont even have seat belts. They dont even look in the car, all they care about is you have to have the windows rolled up.

a basic street car type teck at most nhra tracks consist of making sure the batt is tied down, have a seat belt have windows, no more that 12 inches total of rubber gas line, most certainly must have an over flow can on radiator, even a coors can is ok but must have something. if you have slicks, a drive shaft loop. and a cover over carbs, or at least and air cleaner if no hood. and nothing hanging below scrub line of wheels pretty simple and straight forward, might take 3 minutes, might save your life, or someone elses. and yes they did it back in the day to so you might say it is a traditional tech inspection....just trying to help answer your questions in general , have fun guys post your times we want to know ..........
