Although it's not about racing in Hawaii, my wife and I were in Aruba late November into the first few days of December, 2018. I knew there was a drag strip on Aruba, although the island is only 5 X 20 miles in size. The website mentioned racing "through November", but the Sunday we there was December 2, so I figured I was out of luck to go to the races. Much to my pleasure, as we were pulling out of a gas station, we saw an enclosed trailer with "something-something" Racing Team on the side. We followed it about 6 miles to the drag strip where they were having their season finals, so I got to go to the drags anyway! Unfortunately they didn't sell T shirts from the track. That would have been a pretty cool thing to have from the trip. As far as the racing, there were a lot of front wheel drive "tuner" cars that really screamed, a few Pro-Stock-ish cars and a lot of drag bikes. I'm still amazed that there is a drag strip on an island no larger than the County I live in here in Missouri. Lynn
