Hey all, if anybody is interested some of us are going down to Kennendale(sp) drag strip tonight for some test & tune. The Riersons are going to bring their FED up and get some times on it, I think I might run my 50, just hope I don't break it(my only car)! So any way sorry it's so late, the gates open at 5 pm and go till 10pm. and I think its $10 per person to get in and no extra to run your car. bye keven
flt-blk came by and picked me up at OldCarPilot's place and we cruised down in his pickup. 50Ford was there and seemed to be having problems finding second gear but as he said it, "I don't care, at least I beat that BMW." Not sure but it looked too big to be a 3 series and it had 4 doors. I think he ran a low 10 (1/8 mile). The Reirson Racing FED was in full effect and had the chance to rip off a low 5 second run. I must admit, I'm new to the 1/8 so the time didn't mean alot to me. The other cool car that was there was an early 60s style 'Vette inspired fibergl*** body running a straight 6 out of a Trailblazer and HIGHLY modified. I had a chance to talk to the guy in the staging lanes and he said he was launching at 7700 RPMs and the ****** was set to shift at 8700 or so.
