SEPTEMBER 13: 1965 AHRA Drag Races - Lions Drag Strip. Side view of John Hagan's C/Roadster the "Desert Rat" #757. (Photo by Darryl Norenberg/The Enthusiast Network via Getty Images/Getty Images)

    Hello,

A simple search is all it took for direct identification of the modified roadster. It has similarities to several well known roadsters of the time period, namely the 22 Jr of Tony Nancy and one other roadster from the Brissette camp. But, it was a part of the Getty images photo day at Lion's Dragstrip taken by the above named pro photographer. The event was an AHRA, new at the time, event in Long Beach.

But, as all good things are still documented and presented to the public of an event in 1965, there are people trying to sell the photos as their own for profit. Not good...

I was able to find John’s son. However he didn’t have any info on the car or additional pictures. It was sold before he was born.
