Event Coverage drag week 2026

Anyone going ? I am planning on going to Joliet then following them to Byron and Cordova and St. Louis. I will skip the last day. It will be around 1100 miles total from start to finish.
Right now I'm going to be going by myself.
I have someone that might go with me.
It's to close to home to not go.
Working on my 56 chevy truck. Planning on having it all done.

I need to figure out what I'm doing this year for drag racing...there's also Sick 66 happening in the fall, in the MO area.

I've raced at this year's Drag Week tracks several times already. Might be looking for something different.

 

Won't be racing. Built for cruising. stockish 350 th350 w/2.78 rear gears and 29 inch tall tires.
I saw Sick week 66 . May be going to one track.
Went 2 years ago. I only made the first track. Was planning on going to Mo-Kan and Tulsa.
I had to come back home early. I saw you run the Vette.

 

@squirrel I have seen you run several times over the years. Mo-Kan in the 55. Drag week in Topeka. Drag week in St Louis 2 or 3 times and Sick week 66.

 

I will probably be at one stop on Drag Week, most likely Byron. Although the unlimited cars could do some damage at Joliet.

 

Not Drag Week, but going to spectate at Sick Week in Orlando Speedworld Fri Feb 6th. The Sick Week guys are testing this weekend in preparation.

 

I'm registered for Sick Summer. Planning on doing Drag Week again this year since it's in my back yard. Byron is only a couple hours, Cordova an hour, hell, I might be able to sleep at home a couple nights.
