Is this a Dragmaster trailer in the lower picture? The pic is from the Moon book by David Fetherston.

Who told you that? I think your mistaken... Jim Nelson of Dragmaster sold the business years ago, Although the place is still called Dragmaster, it's an auto repair and emissions testing shop now.
Jim is still around but works at Lego Land

No Royal. That is my Dragmaster Copy with the orginal cars wheels and tires on it. In the bed of Biggens truck that is pictured earlier in this thread. I wish I can find another digger. I love these damn things.

  15. We don't need no stinking blueprints!!! Seriously I don't think there are any Dragmaster blueprints floating around but you really don't need them. I just got a bunch of measurements from existing frames, looked at a lot of pictures, and did a bunch of scaling for the one I'm building.

    Great shot Brian!

Hi to all you fellow front engine dragster buffs,
I'm relatively new to this site and totally new to contributing any verbage to it, so bear with me. I acquired a front engine dragster ( less engine and trans) a couple of years ago which had been rolling garage art for the previous 10/15 years. I'm pretty sure it is home made but it must have been built fairly well because it seems to have been well used. I'd like to figure out what I've got, what I can do with it safely, and what it might be worth ( so I can tell the wife I got a good deal on it so it's OK to put some $$$ in it) .
I've got some pictures of the car but I don't know how to post them here. Could someone walk me thru that process.
Thanks in advance for any info, opinions, help you can give me on this subject.

[IMG] Nice to see this thread back on top... This car started life as a AA/FD run by Dick Roberts around 1964. My friends Jim Mahan (white t-shirt behind motor), Mike Camberlain (stripped shirt), and Paul Delaney ( not pictured) bought this car in 1967 and ran BB/D. They ran it for one year and would team up with Tom O'Connell and build a brand new A/FD. This photo is at New England Dragway 1967.
