This is the show that was featured on the cover of Hot Rod the January 1955 issue.​

Jack Webb is shown with the owner of the 32 roadster, Tom Pollard, whose car wasn't used in the program-two black roadsters were filmed. The cover notes claim that the red roadster was used for the cover because of it's "vivid" color and would be a feature car soon.​

 

Thanks, there was another TV detective show in the 1960's that featured a T Touring car, and street racing, may have been the Norm Grabowski T that was later the "Porter" in My Mother the Car.

 

Those were two different cars altogether . The first was Norm`s T roadster which was Kookie`s car on 77 Sunset Strip . The other was a much later T touring used in My Mother The Car.
