Well, hell yeah, this was a good thread. Did anything ever come of it? I'd like to propose a set of specs for these cars.

 

ND-1 (Nostalgia Dragster) Engines (cubic inches/designs) available in 1955 and earlier, limited to overbore of .060. Blown alky or injected/carbs on nitro. 1, 2, or 3 speed manual or automatic. ND-2 Engines available (cubic inches/designs) available up to 1962, limited to overbore of .060. Blown alky or injected alky or nitro. 1, 2, or 3 speed manual or automatic. ND-1 not to exceed 150 in. wheelbase. ND-2 not to exceed 190 in wheelbase. No aluminum heads, no transbrakes. ND-1 no faster than 10.00 sec quarter mile/6.40 eighth mi. ND-2 help me out here .....how fast do ya want to go?
