The scoop is one item we are missing from the project and Dave hasn't had much luck in locating one so we will have to fab on up for it.

All these pictures of the car and the Magazine articles are great i searched for the binder for the car earlier today and it is buried some where. in the shop

Thanks keep the updates coming. I wonder just how many old rails are still out their setting in barns or garages. I still have my old K-88 car in the garage with stuff stacked all over it I guess I need to dig it out.

I think most of the pictures that we have have been posted i will post the tear down pictures when we start on it. I have heard that the car was recreated a while back but i have never seen it does anyone have pictures of it.

Found a little more info on the car today Rod petmuller built the frame. Bob Sorrrell built the body and Tony Nancy did the upholstery.

Sorrrell. Just for anyone that searches that name in the future. Not trying to be a nit picker. Just to help future dragster research. KING

The frame is back from getting stripped a few cracks need to be repaired, we will st the car up on the frame jig later this week and start relay going over the project.

The wheel base is 140" this is not the exact measurement just the best one i could get by myself for right now.

The way I had always heard it, the West Coast racers loved to travel back east and beat up on those guys, but this Digger was one that the West Coast guys truly feared. Alot of history behind that car. Cant wait to see it finished.

Really glad to see that car again and that it's being preserved.
