An open face helmet, with a mask and goggles would cure that face shield problem. Great shot Kerry!

Some 8 years ago I had the chance to buy an old Simpson mask for $30 and I walked away because I wanted to put the thought of building a digger out of my mind. Didn't work and now I don't have a mask.

I have built plenty of 100" blown altereds and all go down the track straight as a string @ 180mph. Needs to load the RR tire more to straighten it out (if this is a recuring problem) Some way figure out how to lower the left front spindle about 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch. The upswing of the rotating ***y is causing lift of the RR and centrifical force is makeing the tire grow larger than then the left and hence turning the car

Bruce makes a good point just like jacking weight on a dirt modified cross weight under tork load. Interesting

This thread follows the one where you were unsure what you should do about the car; keep or sell. If this shot does't answer that question...................Now, like the others have said, this needs to be on a poster OR a T-shirt; you'd sell enough of them to to help keep the car going, and maybe help out the family finances some; I'll take one of each please. With a short stiff ch***ie you can get away with it , sometimes just spacing the RR wheel out a little can help. Also check the tires by runnung a 1/4" tape around to check Dia and run pressure and the last thing you do before you pull out of staging is to check tire pressure, The sun beating down on one side will raise tire pressure higher that the other.

Wow! The wheelie pic is on MoKan's front web page! Don't know how long it'll be there but I'm honored. :)

I have some but they may all be straight, not right angle. I'll check tonight.

It ****ed. I'm still trying to learn how to pilot this monster. I wheelied, pedaled got back in at about 1/2-2/3 throttle and lifted early for a 9.39. Even so I'm slowly getting comfortable with her and gaining confidence.

No flies on that. No sense in making a "Banzai" p*** and damaging the car. Keep up the good work; 8's are right around the corner.
