Just saw a story on the local news...some piece of shit stole a trailer containing two junior dragsters and related equipment from a family in Garden City, Michigan last night. Police recovered the empty trailer in Detroit, but the worthless shitbags had made off with the two scaled down dragsters used in competition by the family's two children. The estimated value of the stolen items was in the $17,000 range, but the kids are really hurt by this. I don't know the family or the kids myself (I think their name is McCaffrey), but hearing this really pisses me off...what kind of low life chicken shit jackpine FUCKHOLE steals things like this from CHILDREN? The brief news story showed a few quick clips of the kids with their cars and the trophies they'd collected racing them. It's so cool to see a family who encourages their young kids to actively participate in automotive related activities such as organized drag racing, and so pathetic that some scumbag would ruin it for them for...WHAT??? I see all sorts of bad things on the evening newscasts, but this one really burns me up! If we don't start treating criminals like CRIMINALS, and busting their fucking heads open instead of coddling and plea bargaining them, society will continue to degenerate into a hellish playground for vermin to prey upon the remaining decent folk. We need "Dirty Harry" style cops who throw these pieces of shit down flights of stairs, break their legs and put their heads through walls to drive home the point that this shit will not be tolerated! I strongly believe that we need to bring back public hangings and floggings to make examples out of these pricks before it's too late! I feel bad for the kids involved here...and enraged that THIS is the type of world we've come to accept as fit to hand down to them! Hope everything works out for them and that they don't get discouraged by the acts of a few cowardly assholes. Sorry for the little rant, but if anyone here comes across a suspiciously good deal on a couple of junior dragsters and related equipment somewhere in lower Michigan or northern Ohio in the next couple of weeks, take note of what the sellers look like, plate numbers and such and give the Garden City Police a call. I hope these bastards are caught and SHOT trying to resist arrest!
Had a friend from Alabama who was racing at the FlatRock track near Detroit his whole rig{truck trailer race car and tools} was stolen lucky for him it was found in the Detroit area missing only the microwave. Mr Bradberry { the owner} was very lucky..
I'll keep my eyes open. That absolutely sucks! I'm at the strip quite a bit here in NE Ohio. Any idea how to find out some details that would give a positive ID? We got a swap this weekend and I'll be selling so I'll post a "Wanted for my kid: JR Dragster " sign at my site.
